Organizational Affiliation
Citizens for a Safe and Healthy Texas is a program of Stars and Stripes, a nonprofit public benefit corporation, and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes. Our purpose is to promote and support America’s founding principles and encourage Americans to stand up for American values.
For educational purposes, we partner with Every Brain Matters, a federally registered nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization. Federal EIN #92-2923604.
Our Mission
Our mission is to protect Texas children, families, and communities through education, prevention, advocacy, and public awareness. We work to prevent substance use, addiction, and related mental health harms; oppose the commercialization of marijuana and intoxicating THC products; and resist further legalization of harmful drugs. We support prevention-, treatment-, and recovery-focused policies, along with safe and effective medicines.
